An 18thC converted mansion on the popular south coast of Sri Lanka with commanding views over the city of Galle. The exterior is nothing special: a trim lawn and pebbled terrace, and faded yellow paintwork, however the interior is a grand maze of bedrooms and sitting rooms.
The four suites are luxuriously decorated, filled with colonial Dutch antiques, silk drapes, with polished floors, and large bathrooms finished to the highest standards.
Breakfast is served either in your private sitting room, or on the terrace overlooking the croquet lawn and can be requested at any time. You can have a full English, ‘continental’, or a Sri Lankan dish.
Dinner is served in the sister property, The Sun House, next door.
