This well-loved hotel used to be called Au Bon Coin du Lac: now it's been completely transformed and renewed. Furnishings have been modernised and the characteristic white lattice fence - signifying the hotel's slightly old-fashioned charm - has been removed. Without compromising the size or comfort of the rooms, owner Janet Antich has added three new bedrooms and a large suite. All but one have a private balcony with pretty views, while the one original bedroom trades a balcony for what is arguably the best view of the lake.
The dining room has an outside terrace where you can relax in the evenings with tea and cakes, overlooking the water and the nearby Promenade Fleurie.
The location, beside a large freshwater lake, surrounded by pine trees, remains one of the main attractions.
