With its pale stone walls, white painted window surrounds and whitewashed upper storey with wooden balconies, this small guesthouse in a pretty mountain village below pine-forested crags is the most charming place to stay at in Elati. The surroundings are grand, and there are some great walks in the woods and hills around Elati. Outside the front door of the hotel, white canvas director's chairs cluster around cafe tables on a stone patio, surrounded by pots of red and purple flowers on window sills and walls. Inside, the Ligeri has very much the atmosphere of a village inn, with tiled floors, wooden benches and couches in front of a big stone fireplace, and copper dishes decorating the stone walls. Because the hotel is right beside the main road which passes through the village there could be some traffic noise during the day, but this is not a busy highway and there is very little traffic at night. The rooms are neutrally decorated, with striped woollen bed-covers, and each has a balcony or, on the ground floor, its own little patio among grass and shrubs. All things considered, To Ligeri would be a fine place to stay overnight on a touring holiday, or for a few nights to explore the surrounding scenery on foot. There are numerous pleasant restaurants in the village.
