Covering captivating small hotels, pensioni, auberges, inns and guest houses
We have some surprisingly interesting places to stay in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (in English, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). It is a large state with a stretch of Baltic coastline and it extends north-east to the Polish border. Until unification Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was part of East Germany.
The countryside is largely sleepy and unspoilt. The area of lakes known as Rugen attracts weekend visitors from Berlin.
As elsewhere, our selection of places to stay in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern offers an interesting range: guesthouses, hotels, restaurants with rooms. Whichever, they have the special quality of hand-picked character and charm we seek out.
