At the foot of the Jura mountains, facing the Alps (with views over Lake Geneva to Mont Blanc), this is an attractive converted farmhouse with a warm welcome. It has been in the family of its owner, Dominique Lamy, since the mid 19th century, and thanks to the attractions of a Swedish decorator is now dressed in a Scandinavian-inspired coat of paint effects which includes patterned beams, painted ceilings, and doors adorned with flowers and inscriptions. The excellent food (cuisine gastronomique) in the stylish dining room is complemented by an well-priced wine list. The pool, the lovely flowery terrace and the very reasonable prices are a bonus.
