This charming hotel located in Sissinghurst, Kent has been completely refurbished and modified, turning a former pub into a modern country village inn.

The four comfortable and contemporary-styled rooms all decorated in creams, whites and pale greens have a warm, inviting atmosphere, are aptly named Dairy, Churn, Byre and Butterly and are reached through a private door. 

The food is fresh modern British fare: you can choose from a seasonal menu or go for the classic menu that includes burgers, fish and chips and calves liver.  Simple, yes, but the food is tasteful and enjoyable and the chef is owner Dane Allchorne, who along with his wife previously worked for a London catering company.

A young team provides efficient, smiley service.

In celebration of all the good things in life, The Milk House is laying on a four-day full fat festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend with music from top local talent and fabulous food and drink. From cocktails to hot dogs, face-painting to juggling, there’ll be something to put a smile on everyone’s face.
