This country pub and restaurant with rooms is one of several run by chef Sebastian Snow. It’s in Kelmscott and there’s plenty to do nearby from cycling, riding, sailing, tennis and festivals. The Plough will help make arrangements.

Rooms are decorated in warm neutral tones for a cosy home-from-home feel.  There are seven doubles and one single room, each with a kingsize bed. Room prices are modest and include either a continental or cooked breakfast.

The food is locally sourced and the menu changes daily focussing on British comfort food. Dining times do vary and the main dining room seats 40 so reserve your table in good time. There’s a separate bar/eating space housed in an old stable block in the garden, a great little hide away.
