It's larger than our preferred size, but Fermain Valley's focus on individuality and unique design give it charm and originality. Situated high over popular Fermain Bay, its views over the surrounding Channel Islands and, on clear days, as far as France, are spectacular.
The style and ambience is modern, with neutral colours that will appeal to a wide cross section. However, it is the thoughtful little touches that we like the most, such as fresh flowers and seasonal fruit in the bedrooms to make you feel at home. Bedrooms are all individually designed, many with sea or garden views, and thoughtful design touches such as matching headboard cushion or curtain covers and chunky bedspreads give a lovely greeting.
The facilities you find here are typical of most large-scale successful hotels. The Valley Restaurant and The Rock Garden Restaurant, private cinema and indoor swimming pool have all helped this place to achieve its 4 stars, but we especially value the hard work that goes into providing a calm and relaxing atmosphere. One guest commented that it was a 'lovely relaxed atmosphere for such a plush place'.
The hotel is justifiably proud of its landscaped gardens, which won the Floral Guernsey Horticultural Award for Horticultural Excellence in 2008.
